DESCRIPTION Join our IT team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to technological innovation that enables our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a Systems Analyst II, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, maintain, and optimize critical business systems. You will leverage your technical expertise and analytical skills to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure smooth operations of enterprise applications. You will work closely with business partners to understand business needs, document requirements, and translate them into effective technical solutions. This role includes leading configuration, testing, and deployment of system enhancements while ensuring compliance with corporate standards. You will also provide technical guidance to resolve complex issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will directly impact operational excellence and scientific innovation across the organization. REQUIREMENTS Advanced Degree with no prior experience required, or Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, SAP support, or related technical roles. Preferred educational background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields. Hands-on experience in SAP MM/WM configuration, implementation, and support, including procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, and material management processes. Strong knowledge of SAP ERP systems and integration with modules such as SD, PP, and FI/CO, along with experience handling complex business and transactional data. SAP certifications in SAP MM/WM or S/4HANA preferred. Additional certifications such as ITIL, Agile, or ServiceNow are advantageous. Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, IT Service Management (ITSM), change management, testing, and production support processes. Proven ability to gather and document business requirements, perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot system issues, and deliver process improvement solutions. Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional global teams. Experience in life sciences, manufacturing, logistics, or regulated industries is preferred.
