DESCRIPTION: Contribute to innovations that make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a Mechanical Engineer II, you'll work on sophisticated scientific instruments and laboratory equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize mechanical systems and components. Drive product innovation while ensuring manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with quality standards. You'll have opportunities to work on challenging technical problems, from concept through production, utilizing advanced CAD tools and engineering principles to deliver solutions that meet customer needs. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's Degree with 4 to 8 years of mechanical design experience in a technical product development environment • Preferred Fields of Study: Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field • Expertise in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks ) and PLM/PDM systems • Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFM/DFA principles, and manufacturing processes • Experience with mechanical design analysis, FEA, and tolerance stack-ups • Proficiency in designing with various materials including metals, plastics, and composites • Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements (ISO, UL, CE, FDA as applicable) • Demonstrated ability to perform complex engineering calculations and analysis • Experience with test plan development, verification, and validation • Strong project management and documentation skills • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaborate in cross-functional teams • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Up to 25% travel may be required for some positions • Professional communication skills required, additional language skills are valued Thank you for your interest as you consider starting a new career journey with us.
