What to Expect

Tesla is seeking an Electrical Engineer focused on magnetic materials testing and quality control. This role supports the Motor Technology team in Athens, Greece, by executing reliable measurements on soft and hard magnetic materials, maintaining high laboratory standards, and delivering clear, traceable quality reports for production and R&D decision-making.

Το άτομο αυτό θα εργάζεται ως μέρος της ομάδας τεχνολογίας κινητήρων της Tesla με έδρα στην Αθήνα, με στόχο την εκτέλεση αξιόπιστων μετρήσεων σε μαλακά και σκληρά μαγνητικά υλικά, τήρηση υψηλών εργαστηριακών προτύπων και σύνταξη σαφών, ιχνηλάσιμων αναφορών ποιότητας για αποφάσεις παραγωγής και R&D.

What You’ll Do

• Perform characterization testing of soft and hard magnetic materials using standardized lab methods.

• Execute incoming, in-process, and final quality control measurements for magnetic material batches.

• Prepare high-quality test reports, certificates, and data summaries with clear pass/fail conclusions.

• Maintain metrology-lab discipline: calibration status, traceability records, measurement uncertainty, and equipment logs.

• Develop and maintain test procedures, control plans, and acceptance criteria for magnetic properties.

• Organize magnetic material inventory, sample tracking, and documentation workflow with strong version control.

• Coordinate testing priorities to meet deadlines and support time-critical engineering and production needs.

• Support continuous improvement of lab efficiency, data integrity, and reporting quality.

• Χαρακτηρισμός μαλακών και σκληρών μαγνητικών υλικών με τυποποιημένες εργαστηριακές μεθόδους.

• Διενέργεια μετρήσεων ποιοτικού ελέγχου σε εισερχόμενα υλικά, ενδιάμεσα στάδια και τελικά batches.

• Σύνταξη αναφορών δοκιμών, πιστοποιητικών και συνοπτικών παρουσιάσεων δεδομένων με σαφή συμπεράσματα αποδοχής ή απόρριψης.

• Διασφάλιση ποιότητας μετρολογικού εργαστηρίου: κατάσταση διακριβώσεων, ιχνηλασιμότητα, αβεβαιότητα μετρήσεων και αρχεία εξοπλισμού.

• Ανάπτυξη και συντήρηση διαδικασιών δοκιμών, πλάνων ελέγχου και κριτηρίων αποδοχής για μαγνητικές ιδιότητες.

• Οργάνωση αποθέματος μαγνητικών υλικών, ιχνηλάτηση δειγμάτων και ροή τεκμηρίωσης με αυστηρό έλεγχο εκδόσεων.

• Ιεράρχηση και συντονισμός προτεραιοτήτων δοκιμών ώστε να τηρούνται προθεσμίες σε απαιτητικό περιβάλλον.

• Υποστήριξη συνεχούς βελτίωσης στην αποδοτικότητα εργαστηρίου, την ακεραιότητα δεδομένων και την ποιότητα αναφορών.

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.

• Hands-on experience with magnetic material testing and laboratory measurement practices.

• Strong understanding of electromagnetics and magnetic properties of soft and hard materials.

• Experience with lab instruments such as power analyzers, oscilloscopes, gaussmeters, and related measurement equipment.

• Ability to produce accurate, structured, and audit-ready quality control reports.

• Knowledge of metrology fundamentals: calibration, traceability, uncertainty, and measurement system consistency.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and documentation discipline.

• Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple test requests in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills in cross-functional teams.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and written

• Πτυχίο Ηλεκτρολόγου/Μηχανολόγου Μηχανικού, Φυσικής, Επιστήμης Υλικών ή συναφούς αντικειμένου.

• Πρακτική εμπειρία σε δοκιμές μαγνητικών υλικών και σε εργαστηριακές μετρητικές πρακτικές.

• Πολύ καλή κατανόηση ηλεκτρομαγνητισμού και μαγνητικών ιδιοτήτων μαλακών και σκληρών υλικών.

• Εμπειρία χρήσης εργαστηριακών οργάνων όπως αναλυτές ισχύος, παλμογράφοι, gaussmeters και συναφής μετρητικός εξοπλισμός.

• Ικανότητα σύνταξης ακριβών, δομημένων και audit-ready αναφορών ποιοτικού ελέγχου.

• Γνώση βασικών αρχών μετρολογίας: διακρίβωση, ιχνηλασιμότητα, αβεβαιότητα και συνέπεια μετρητικού συστήματος.

• Άριστες οργανωτικές δεξιότητες, προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια και πειθαρχία στην τεκμηρίωση.

• Ισχυρές δεξιότητες διαχείρισης χρόνου και ικανότητα χειρισμού πολλαπλών αιτημάτων δοκιμών.

• Πολύ καλές επικοινωνιακές δεξιότητες σε διατμηματικό περιβάλλον.

• Άριστη γνώση Αγγλικών σε προφορικό και γραπτό λόγο.
