Tesla is advancing humanoid robots for large-scale automation of repetitive tasks. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic engineer to join the Optimus Actuators team, with a focus on powertrain modeling design to drive innovative robotics solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for developing advanced MATLAB functions to model humanoid powertrain performance, contributing to a multi-physics modeling codebase.

• Develop new and enhance existing actuator system optimization functions based on multiple criteria.

• Process Big Data, extract useful system-level information to aid powertrain design, and visualize the results.

What You’ll Bring

• Studies in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

• Several years of relevant experience

• Strong mathematical and physics background

• Strong MATLAB programming skills

• Ability to communicate fluently in English, verbally and written

• The following will be considered as plus:

• Understanding of optimization fundamentals

• Electrical machines, power electronics and control fundamentals

• Understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer

• Very good understanding of electromagnetics and electric circuits

• Understanding of electrical, thermal and mechanical modeling

• Physics/model representations of kinematic chains

• Σπουδές ηλεκτρολόγου ή μηχανολόγου μηχανικού

• Σχετική εμπειρία 0-3 ετών

• Ισχυρό υπόβαθρο στα μαθηματικά και τη φυσική

• Πολύ καλές δεξιότητες προγραμματισμού MATLAB

• Ευχέρεια στα αγγλικά
