Manufacturing Test Engineer (Relocation to Tilburg)

Please note the relocation to Tilburg is required.
Tesla is looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to support and optimize test systems within the Remanufacturing team in Tilburg.
You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and availability of automated test equipment across product lines including battery packs, drive units, and energy systems. This role offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives in a high-paced, innovation-driven environment.
What You’ll Do
- Drive improvements in tester uptime, hardware reliability, software stability, cycle time, and first pass yield (FPY).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Process, Quality, and Maintenance Engineering to meet equipment performance targets and troubleshoot performance gaps.
- Conduct pre-deployment data analysis and VOC (Voice of the Customer) feedback sessions to identify potential post-deployment challenges.
- Develop, validate, and commission manufacturing test systems. Ensure comprehensive test documentation and smooth handover to production.
- Provide post-deployment support, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions for test system failures.
- Support equipment debugging, qualification, and ramp-up activities for new or updated manufacturing lines.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage test systems, automation equipment, industrial sensors, and data acquisition systems.
- Strong proficiency in NI TestStand, LabVIEW, and Python.
- Working knowledge of CAN bus protocols and ability to analyse communication traces.
- Skilled in interpreting test data and translating findings into actionable engineering decisions.
- Experience in electrical schematic design is a plus.
- Eligibility to work in the Netherlands (EU citizenship or valid work permit) is required.

Minimum expected Compensation: €70,880/annual salary + equity + benefits
