What to Expect
Location: Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg
Duration: 6 Months
Start date: August / September 2026
Time type: Full-time
The selected candidate will be a part of the General Assembly Process Engineering team which is responsible for all processes from painted body to complete vehicle.
We are determining the most effective methods of processing while improving cycle times, reducing downtime, lowering cost, and driving improvements in overall vehicle quality in order to ensure the continued performance of the process. Please bare in mind this is a full-time position and you will be working at the Gigafactory.
What You’ll Do
- Develop clear understanding of the work of a Process Engineer/Process steps
- Build and apply strong data analysis skills to conduct in-depth analyses, extracting actionable insights from complex datasets
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining quality metrics, actively contributing to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance GA system quality
- Create visually compelling presentations to communicate findings effectively
- Support in standardized work instructions
- Hands on experience on building prototype vehicles and sub-assemblies
- Interact with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and address complex quality issues.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and always changing environment
What You’ll Bring

Studying a degree in an Engineering discipline: Industrial, Mechanical, and/or Process Engineering

Catia V5 and AutoCAD experience is preferred

Fluent in English

Jira/Confluence/SQL experience will be a plus

Ability to keep an overview and improve processes

Analytical mindset and problem-solving oriented

Capable of working in a fast paced and always changing environment
