What to Expect

Tesla is advancing humanoid robots for large-scale automation of repetitive tasks. We are seeking a talented electric motor designer to join the Optimus Actuators team, with a focus on EM modeling and design of electric motors to drive innovative robotics solutions.

Αναζητούμε έναν ταλαντούχο ηλεκτρολόγο μηχανικό (motor designer) να γίνει μέρος της ομάδας κινητήρων του Optimus, με στόχο την μοντελοποίηση και σχεδιασμό ηλεκτρικών κινητήρων που θα οδηγήσουν σε καινοτόμες λύσεις για εφαρμογές ρομποτικής.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for designing electric motors for humanoid robot actuators.

• Process big data, select the most compelling actuator candidates and visualize the results.

• Responsible for motor modeling accuracy for Tesla Bot actuators, ensuring alignment with experimental data.

• Responsible for developing advanced Matlab functions to model motor and powertrain performance.

• Develop new and enhance existing motor system optimization functions based on multiple criteria.

• Υπεύθυνη/ος για τον σχεδιασμός κινητήρων ή/και συστημάτων κίνησης για ανθρωποειδή ρομπότ.

• Επεξεργασία Big Data, επιλογή των βέλτιστων και αποτύπωση των αποτελεσμάτων.

• Υπεύθυνη/ος για την ακρίβεια μοντελοποίησης των κινητήριων συστημάτων του Tesla Bot, εξασφαλίζοντας πως ευθυγραμμίζεται με πειραματικά δεδομένα.

• Υπεύθυνη/ος για την ανάπτυξη προχωρημένων συναρτήσεων σε περιβάλλον MATLAB για την μοντελοποίηση της επίδοσης ηλεκτρικών μηχανών και συστημάτων κίνησης.

• Ανάπτυξη νέων και βελτιστοποίηση υπαρχόντων συναρτήσεων πολυκριτηριακής βελτιστοποίησης κινητήριων συστημάτων.

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Fluency in English.

• Strong knowledge of Motor EM Design.

• Strong mathematical and physics background.

• Very good understanding of electromagnetics and electric circuits.

• Strong Matlab programming skills.

• Experience analyzing electric motors using Finite Element Method.

• The following will be considered as plus:

• Understanding of optimization fundamentals

• Power electronics and control fundamentals

• Understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer

• Understanding of electrical, thermal and mechanical modeling

• Understanding of electrical measurements

• 2+ χρόνια σχετικής εμπειρίας.

• Άριστη γνώση της αγγλικής γλώσσας.

• Εξαιρετική κατανόηση αρχών σχεδιασμού ηλεκτρικών μηχανών.

• Εξαιρετικό υπόβαθρο μαθηματικών και φυσικής.

• Πολύ καλή κατανόηση Ηλεκτρομαγνητισμού και ηλεκτρικών κυκλωμάτων.

• Εξαιρετικές δεξιότητες προγραμματισμού σε περιβάλλον MATLAB.

• Εμπειρία στη μοντελοποίηση ηλεκτρικών μηχανών με μεθόδους πεπερασμένων στοιχείων.

• Επιπλέον επιθυμητά προσόντα:

• Κατανόηση βασικών αρχών βελτιστοποίησης.

• Γνώση της λειτουργίας ηλεκτρικών μηχανών, ηλεκτρονικών ισχύος και βασικές αρχές θεωρίας ελέγχου.

• Κατανόηση αρχών θερμοδυναμικής και μεταφοράς θερμότητας.

• Κατανόηση της αρχιτεκτονικής του κινητηρίου συστήματος ενός οχήματος καθώς και της δυναμικής του συμπεριφοράς.

• Εμπειρία/κατανόηση ηλεκτρικών μετρήσεων.
