Here’s a sneak peak of what our colleagues say about working within ING Hubs Romania: At ING, we're building the solutions of tomorrow, today | 80% of our colleagues in Romania agree The Mission In your role you will support the ING Belgium Data Management organization in achieving a well governed data lake that ensures data availability, common understanding of business terms, impeccable data quality, traceable and controlled data in line with regulations. You will play a key role in translating business requirements into clear data logic, specifications, metadata and validation criteria, ensuring that data is available, commonly understood, traceable, controlled and compliant with regulations. Your day to day We embrace a hybrid way of working either from the comfort of your home or from the new office buildings in Bucharest. As a technical data management analyst, you will: translate the business requirements in collaboration with the international stakeholders (data stewards, data suppliers or data consumers) focusing on onboarding and structuring data into the DataLake; data modelling and data exposure to the end users prepare definitions for business terms, based on existing ING data catalogues including the requirements on data quality, data lineage, data privacy and data security create analysis deliverables such as workflow diagrams, data models and functional/technical documentation. align with the architects on the data lake design and ensure the implementation of the new solution is done according to the data lake target architecture support DevOps engineers with functional knowhow in order to fix production incidents design and execute end-to-end functional test cases, ensuring that outputs match business requirements before go-live manage stakeholder expectations, support planning together with the team and take ownership of your deliverables show availability and willingness to help others proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, documentation, governance practices and team delivery effectiveness work in a dynamic environment where you can inspire others to apply problem solving solutions when dealing with challenges What you’ll bring to the team Mandatory: ability to use SQL for medium complexity queries experience working with databases and with data warehouse experience as technical business analysis in IT projects experience in requirements gathering and writing technical and functional specifications hands-on experience with data quality, data lineage, data security, data privacy, data lifecycle management, data issue remediation and other data-governance practices experience with banking products, processes, and services excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing Nice to have: experience with Agile methodologies knowledge on banking regulatory requirements Education: master or bachelor’s degree (IT, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics/Business) If you want to deep dive into the processing of personal data conducted by ING Hubs Romania during the recruitment process and your rights related to it, read the privacy notices on our website (make sure to scroll until you reach the Data Protection section/ Candidates tab).
