Technical Regulations and Standards Engineer in Vietnam Description - Job Summary: Responsible for managing product regulatory compliance activities in Vietnam from certificate submissions to certificate approvals and market surveillance. Mission to assure that HP delivers safe, legal products to customers fast at low cost in the domains of safety, EMC, telecom, Energy Efficiency. Responsibilities: - Ensure product conforms to regulations with safe & legal compliance. - Deliver fast, accurate, and on-time certification and registration with cost efficiency. - Support and respond to Vietnam market business and customer needs. - Track and manage all EMC/Safety/telecom/Energy Efficiency requirement/activity for multiple projects - ensure that product certificate approvals are on schedule with new product introduction timeline. - Build and maintain effective interface with both HP internal groups (BUs and country business team) as well as country regulatory authorities/agencies/test labs. - Engage with authorities to get the 1st hand regulations and requirements with clear interpretation to hp product compliance. - Provide unambiguous regulatory requirements to HP business, R&D, supply chain, and manufacturing. - Manage agency service and test labs for compliance operations and review/track on agency costs. - Work closely with HP compliance group to follow up/manage the agency regulation dynamics (such as regulations, requirements, lead-time and cost changes, as well as regional specific issues.). - Support HP engagement with government authorities to influence/advocate on product regulations practice in hp’s best interests.
