Job Description: This job is responsible for leading a team to develop best practices and set operational standards. Key responsibilities include leading the plan, design, and implementation of complex solutions, applying knowledge of technology, and communicating technology solutions across audiences including technical, managerial, business executives, senior executives, and/or vendors. Job expectations may include coaching, mentoring, providing feedback and career development to members of the team, directing team activities, and adhering to defined practices and policies to obtain results. This job is responsible for providing technical direction and oversight of technology and automation solutions for a more resilient, secure and robust Infrastructure. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, performance and end to end testing. Job expectations include an awareness of development, testing and database administration practices in the industry. Responsibilities: Provides leadership in defect, incident, problem, and change review meetings and release activities as applicable, developing reliable and repeatable solutions to technology issues Manages the stability, resiliency, reliability, and performance of a wide array of supported systems Provides point of escalation for team members, peers, and partner teams, and shares the leadership Point of Contact for triage of high priority incidents or consulting engagements Mentors staff, provides technical leadership across the organization, and participates and helps with the resource interview and onboarding processes Directs appropriate teams to ensure alerts, monitoring, dashboards, and processes are established appropriately for new projects and initiatives Performs access reviews, conducts compliance activities, and serves as a delegate for administrative processes Supports change implementations and proactively identifies potential issues resulting from the changes Managing vulnerability remediation, designing and implementing robust patching strategy with end to end automated solutions Designing, deploying, and maintaining databases on containers on Kubernetes / OpenShift platforms Implementing highly resilient, secure, scalable and performant architectures in Hybrid cloud environments Sustaining ongoing compliance to bank’s standards including Identity Access Management, Data protection and Security baselines Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, resilient, and production‑ready infrastructure platforms Contributing to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational best practices Participating in Agile ceremonies and supporting iterative, high‑quality software delivery Required Qualifications: 5 Years of job related experience required. · Strong hands‑on experience with databases like Oracle/Exadata, PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, Redis or DB2 Working knowledge of managing databases on containers with good understanding of container concepts, including scheduling, networking, storage, configuration, and secrets management Experience operating infrastructure services and database workloads in Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) Working knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform) and automated deployment approaches. Proficiency in Python working with APIs for developing and operationalizing AI‑driven applications including agent designs Experience working in large‑scale enterprise environments with strong requirements for security, reliability, and compliance Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for containerized applications Experience contributing within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues Clear, concise communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders Ability to work effectively across engineering, infrastructure, security, and application teams Desired Qualifications: Experience operating in regulated or highly secure environments. Exposure to observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing) for distributed and AI‑driven systems. Experience supporting multi‑tenant platforms at scale. Discretionary incentive eligible This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Spell check. Make it error free. • Do use high quality, white or light colored 8½ x 11 paper. Use a laser printer if possible. • Don't be dishonest, always tell the truth about yourself in the most flattering light. • Don't include salary history or requirements. • Don't include references. • Don't include accomplishments that do not support your professional goals. • Don't include anything that isn't relevant. (For example, don't mention your fondness for swimming unless you want to work on the water.) • Don't use italics, underlining, shadows or other fancy treatments. Seven steps to a successful interview 1. Anticipate –Put yourself in the interviewer's position. What do you believe the interviewer is most interested in? Why do you think you have been invited to interview? 2. Research –What are the primary functions of the line of business? What are the success factors for the job? Is there a job description available? 3. Assess –Think about your skills, abilities, knowledge, interests, traits, values and accomplishments. Match them to what you know about the job. Consider which ones you should highlight. 4. Prepare Answers –Think about what the interviewer may ask, determine what the best answer is and write it down. 5. Prepare Questions – Interviewing is a two-way street. By asking thoughtful questions, you communicate your interest and learn a lot about the job. Choose two or three questions to ask your interviewer. Avoid asking a lot of questions about vacation time or breaks. 6. Practice – It may seem awkward, but it is the best way to come across well in an interview. Practice your own "great responses" with others or in front of a mirror until you appear relaxed and at ease. 7. Follow-up – Send a brief follow-up letter to the interviewer. Keep in mind that the many job searchers will not send a follow-up letter. Sending one can become a competitive advantage.
