Do you want to help build some of the largest and most consequential enterprise and customer technology systems in the world? Join Apple’s Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organization. IS&T is the engine behind everything Apple does for customers and for the people who build for them. It’s Apple’s central nervous system. Supporting 2.5 billion active Apple devices, processing billions of secure transactions, and keeping the technology that defines modern life running flawlessly, IS&T makes the impossible feel effortless.

Do you love building solutions to handle global complexity and immense scale? Imagine what you could do here. IS&T Asia Pacific (APAC) brings together all IS&T functions across the Asia Pacific region, partnering with global leadership to deliver key programs at a regional level. The team works closely with APAC business and sales teams, providing real-time visibility into how IS&T systems and tools are performing across the region.

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives across engineering, compliance, business, product, and operations teams with a focus on engineering execution, compliance governance, audit readiness, and operational controls. In this role, you will drive high-impact programs from concept through delivery, partnering closely with engineering leaders, product owners, business stakeholders, and regional teams. You will bring structure to ambiguity, align teams around clear priorities, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure delivery of compliant, scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.

This is a role for someone who can operate comfortably at both strategic and execution levels: able to engage senior leaders on roadmap, governance, and trade-offs, while also diving deep into technical details, project plans, risks, milestones, and operational readiness.

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex IS&T engineering programs across enterprise applications, systems, compliance, infrastructure, platforms, and AI/ML initiatives.

  • Partner with engineering, compliance, product, business, privacy, legal, finance, operations, and regional stakeholders to define program scope, delivery plans, compliance governance, audit readiness, control requirements, and success metrics.

  • Translate regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements into structured engineering execution plans, including milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, evidence requirements, and operational readiness criteria.

  • Drive audit readiness by ensuring programs have clear documentation, decision records, control evidence, access governance, change management records, testing results, monitoring data, and post-launch support models.

  • Work with engineering teams to establish sustainable compliance mechanisms, such as system logging, monitoring, access control reviews, data flow traceability, operational dashboards, anomaly detection, and audit trails.

  • Manage cross-functional dependencies across global and regional teams, and prepare clear executive-level updates, audit summaries, audit readiness materials, risk reviews, and decision documents.

  • 8+ years of experience in engineering project management, technical program management, compliance program management, audit readiness, enterprise systems delivery, or related roles.

  • Experience leading complex cross-functional technology programs involving software engineering, enterprise platforms, cloud infrastructure, compliance, or audit controls.

  • Ability to work with engineering teams to translate compliance or audit requirements into technical implementation plans.

  • Good understanding of audit and compliance concepts, including control design, control validation, evidence collection, risk assessment, remediation tracking, and governance reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical, compliance, and audit topics clearly to engineering teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.

  • Good technical fluency, with the ability to understand system architecture, data flows, integration dependencies, security requirements, operational risks, and engineering trade-offs.

  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, ability to bring structure to ambiguity, and ability to influence across global teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience working with regulatory compliance, internal audit, external audit, personal data protection, data localization, data governance, controlled technology environments, regulatory reporting, post-approval continuous compliance and audit .

  • Familiarity with enterprise application architecture, identity and access management, observability, DevOps, data platforms, data classification, audit trail requirements, and compliance automation.

  • Familiarity with regulatory-facing or audit-facing activities related to personal data protection, data localization, including preparation of technical documentation, data flow diagrams, evidence packages, remediation plans, and compliance status reporting.

  • Expert level communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate directly and clearly across engineering, business, legal, compliance, audit, and executive stakeholders. Strong emphasis on clarity, precision, active listening, and the ability to align diverse global teams around complex technical, regulatory, and operational topics.
