The Role: As an Application Engineer at IQS, you play a vital role in supporting our customers and the sales team throughout the entire customer journey. From pre-sales activities, such as conducting product demonstrations and providing technical sales support, to post-sales efforts, including helping customers understand and apply our hardware and software systems, your expertise ensures seamless integration and optimal use of our solutions. This support is delivered through tailored training, direct customer assistance, and technical services, always with a focus on professionalism and customer orientation to uphold our high standards of excellence. Technical Measurements & Programming: Perform measurement tasks and develop measurement programs based on customer-specific requirements. Customer Training: Conduct professional training sessions for customers on various measurement software packages. Feasibility & Demonstrations: Execute feasibility studies and product demonstrations (demos) to showcase our technical solutions. Application Consulting: Provide expert advice on the use in Metrology field – dimensional measurements, X-ray technologies within Quality Assurance (QA) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and microscopy solutions. Requirements Engineering: Act as the first point of contact to clarify customer requirements and provide technical consultation. Planning & Calculation: Generate effort and cost estimations for the planning and execution of specific measurement tasks. Results Presentation: Lead follow-up discussions and present final measurement results and data to the client. Internal Collaboration: Ensure a smooth flow of information and work closely with other specialized departments within the company. Technical Education: secondary or higher education in technical fields (mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electro engineering…) Customer Focus: 2-3 years working experience and you possess a strong sense of customer orientation and a high level for technical solutions Mobility: driving license and you are willing to travel occasionally for business – including multi-day trips Personal Attributes: demonstrated flexibility, innovation, independence, and precision in your work team-oriented mindset with a structured and organized approach to work effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with various functions fluent Slovenian and English skills Your ZEISS Recruiting Team: Hayley Lem Step out of your comfort zone, excel and redefine the limits of what is possible.
