About the Team
Our Sydney Building Services team is a well-established, high-performing group within WSP’s national Property and Buildings business. You’ll be joining a genuinely supportive and collaborative team made up of highly experienced, long-standing professionals alongside emerging talent. With a strong pipeline of Tier 1 projects secured across Transport, Defence, Data Centres, Commercial and Health, the work is varied, technically challenging and genuinely market-leading. Backed by national capability and a global business, the team combines strong local relationships with the scale to deliver some of the most complex projects in the country.
About the Role
You’ll join a multidisciplinary Building Services team, contributing to the design, documentation and coordination of mechanical systems across a range of projects from concept through to construction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design of HVAC, ventilation and mechanical systems
- Preparing calculations, reports and technical documentation
- Coordinating with electrical, hydraulic and architectural teams
- Supporting project delivery through design reviews and site inspections
- Ensuring designs meet NCC and relevant Australian Standards
About You
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- 3–6 years’ experience within Building Services (consultancy preferred)
- Solid understanding of NCC and relevant Australian Standards
- Experience with Revit or similar design tools preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
