1. Provide expertise and support for installation and upgrades of Oracle Database / OFM upgrade / patches

2. Participate and provide expertise and support to Banner XE upgrade efforts

3. Participate and provide expertise in OS upgrades (RHEL, WIN) upgrade / patches or configuration changes

4. Support and provide expertise related to Banner enterprise system Security activities

5. Participate and provide expertise in database cloning procedures

6. Support and provide expertise related coordination of space management with DBAs and System Engineers: VM / Backups / SAN / DR

7. Experience with System Administration 3yrs+

8. Unix/Linux environment

9. Monitoring server performance; application performance

10. Experience with Automic/UC4/AppWorx

11. Generate and maintain system specific reports

12. Database Support and developer Experience 5+yrs

13. Oracle/SQL Server

14. MySQL

15. Experience with Banner Systems 5yrs+

16. Current knowledge and experience with Oracle Developer Suite (SQL Developer), PL/SQL, Automic/UC4, ODS,

17. Experience with Grid Control, etc. (ex: security reporting, server performance, etc.) or appropriate tools

18. Understanding of Production environment support and Business Continuity

19. Understanding of Disaster and recovery process

20. Understanding of Web Services; experience with Banner XE preferred.

21. Understanding of complex ERP environment.

22. Impact of ERP elements and respective integrations on system downtime, etc.

23. Understanding infrastructure requirements and space planning for optimal performance;

24. Ability to make recommendations and coordinate planning

25. System Integration – ability to evaluate vendor technical specifications and compatibility with existing system

26. Future technology planning

27. Security – understanding of network, data and system security

28. Tracking History of system upgrade, patches of supported products

29. Coordination of system upgrades, patches and cloning of supported products

30. Quarterly scheduled patches and clones

31. Good communication skills

32. Recommendations on industry best practices
