This role operates as the primary regional bridge between LATAM business stakeholders and Global IT platform owners, ensuring proper demand orchestration, adherence to global standards, and effective execution within the global portfolio of enterprise systems, including:
- SAP ECC
- Oracle (Donna)
- Oracle Sales Cloud (OSC)
- Enterprise integrations
- Automation and AI-enabled platforms
- Onesource Tax
- Onesource global trade
This position plays a critical role in:
- Defining the strategy for the Ceará (Pátria) strategic project.
- Defining and systematically implementing the Brazil Tax Reform (IBS/CBS/IS transition), including compliance with new regulatory requirements (such as FCI-related master data impacts);
- Driving automation and AI enablement initiatives.
- Ensuring strict alignment with Global IT architecture, governance, and cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities
1. ERP Stability & Mission-Critical System Availability
- Ensure high availability, performance, and business continuity for:
- SAP ECC
- Oracle R12
- Oracle Sales Cloud (OSC)
- Brazil tax and internation trade applications
- Define with Global IT teams to monitor integrations with platforms such as DataZen, E2open, and middleware layers.
- Orchestrate incident management, root cause analysis, and structured resolution follow-ups.
- Maintain SLA governance and disciplined change management processes.
- Ensure system readiness during high-impact business cycles (tax filings, month-end close, statutory reporting periods).
2. Ceará (Patria) & Strategic Project Enablement
- Define and lead the LATAM systems strategy to support the Ceará plant and Pátria strategic initiative.
- Establish governance and ensure alignment of system configurations, cost center structures, integrations, and reporting frameworks with business objectives.
- Drive strategic alignment between SAP ERP and Oracle ERP environments to support operational and financial requirements.
- Act as the regional leadership point for coordination, risk management, and escalation during go-live and stabilization phases.
3. Brazil Tax Reform & Regulatory Readiness
- Define and oversee the strategic approach for system impact assessments related to the Brazil Tax Reform (IBS/CBS/IS transition).
- Ensure enterprise readiness across SAP ERP and Oracle ERP to support fiscal, tax, and statutory reporting transformations.
- Partner strategically with Tax and Finance leadership to validate compliance requirements and drive necessary system adaptations.
- Establish and govern integration alignment with government tax platforms and regulatory reporting systems, ensuring compliance and scalability.
4. Business Interface & Demand Governance
- Establish and lead the strategic interface between LATAM business leadership and Global IT platform owners.
- Define and govern the regional demand management framework, ensuring proper consolidation, validation, and prioritization aligned with business strategy.
- Drive the translation of business needs into structured, high-level functional requirements aligned with global standards and architectural principles.
- Ensure strong adoption of global platforms, tools, and processes, minimizing regional customizations and deviations.
- Govern the intake and prioritization process for system enhancements, ensuring proper documentation, traceability, and alignment with global governance models.
5. Automation, AI & Digital Enablement
- Define and lead the LATAM strategy for automation, AI, and digital enablement, aligned with business priorities and global IT direction.
- Identify, prioritize, and govern automation opportunities across LATAM operations to drive scalability and efficiency.
- Drive the adoption and strategic use of AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot and the VEGA platform, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and use cases.
- Establish and govern reusable automation frameworks, standards, and best practices across the region.
- Lead initiatives to reduce manual processes, improve productivity, and enhance operational efficiency through technology enablement.
6. Global Alignment & Enterprise Architecture
- Ensure all LATAM initiatives align with:
- Global SAP and Oracle roadmaps
- Oracle Sales Cloud governance
- Enterprise architecture standards
- Cybersecurity and compliance policies
- Prevent shadow IT and uncontrolled local developments by reinforcing structured governance.
7. Team Leadership & High-Performance Culture
- Lead and develop the LATAM Systems team, including 4 direct Vertiv employees and all related application consultants, fostering a high-performance and results-driven culture.
- Establish clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations aligned with regional and global IT strategy.
- Drive team capability development, ensuring the right balance between internal expertise and external consulting support.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team and extended ecosystem.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or specialization in Digital Transformation is preferred.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise systems (SAP and Oracle environments).
- 2+ years in coordination or leadership roles.
- Experience in multinational or global organizations.
- Strong exposure to:
- SAP ECC
- Oracle (R12)
- Oracle Sales Cloud (OSC)
- Enterprise integrations and middleware
- LATAM regulatory and tax frameworks
- PL/SQL
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- SAP and Oracle system availability ≥ 99.5%
- Zero critical compliance or regulatory failures
- Successful Ceará/Patria system deployment and stabilization
- % of LATAM demands aligned with global tools and standards
- Measurable reduction of manual processes through automation
