Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions is currently searching for a Commercial Engineer to assume responsibility for Capital Sales, Service Agreements of various sorts, Build Own Operate systems and others as required, budgetary and final firm proposals for the USA and Canada but not limited thereto as well as periodic support for other Commercial Engineers within the groups. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide Commercial Engineering support and maintain a working knowledge of all active BMS projects, including generating budget and firm proposals, process designs, Process & Instrumentation and General Arrangement Drawings.

Generate budgetary proposals, process designs, Piping and Instrumentation Designs, General Arrangements, and final bid proposals.

Works closely with vendors and internal resources to obtain quotes for parts and services to be provided

Apply costing and process design strategies to position the company, in the early stages of project development, to increase the probability of success.

Timely management of multiple tasks and deadlines

Develop and maintain relationships with Sales Managers, Local Representatives and assisting Regional Sales Managers with sales calls, design kick-off meetings, and value engineering reviews

Adhering to all internal procedures related to bid preparation, proposal tracking, Authorization of Order Packages, and sales forecasting.

Other duties as needed and assigned by Manager

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Extensive computer experience with Google, MS Office Suite, Salesforce and SAP

Experience generating and reading engineered systems P&ID and CAD drawings

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, environmental or chemical engineering, Chemistry or other Bachelor’s in Science

Minimum of 3 years experience in water or wastewater engineering or equipment supply field, preferably with some knowledge of membrane process equipment.

Minimum of 2 years experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand bid/proposal specification, both from a technical and commercial perspective, as related to contractual terms and conditions.

Fluent in English (written and verbal)

Preferred: Experience in water or wastewater engineering or equipment supply field, preferably with some knowledge of membrane process equipment and ultra pure water.

Experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand bid/proposal specification, both from a technical and commercial perspective, as related to contractual terms and conditions.

10% travel
