Job Description
This role is responsible for leading and executing EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) certification projects, ensuring compliance with international standards while delivering high-quality customer service. The position combines strong technical expertise, project management, and client engagement to support business growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Business Support
- Act as the primary technical interface with clients, explaining requirements, procedures, and project status
- Promote UL Solutions services and support business development through client interactions
- Address client concerns and resolve technical or project-related issues effectively
Technical Expertise (EMC)
- Establish test programs by analyzing product designs and applying applicable EMC standards (e.g., ANSI, CISPR, IFT, NOM, IEC, etc)
- Identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and implement special test methods for emerging technologies and new standards
- Support calibration and characterization of EMC laboratory equipment
Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and laboratory staff
- Support training and development of junior engineers and technicians
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and global teams
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Electrical, Electronics, or related field)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in EMC testing(ISO 17025), certification(ISO17065), or related field
- Strong knowledge of EMC standards and conformity assessment frameworks
- Proven ability to manage complex technical projects independently
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to interface with global clients
- Experience with laboratory operations and test methodologies is preferred
