Quality Control Technician

Job Title: Quality Technician Location: Gettysburg, PA Position Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Pay - $17.00 - $22.00

Join Our Team at Qualastat – Experts in Wire Harness Manufacturing Qualastat is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Technician to support our quality assurance efforts in wire harness manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished wire harness assemblies

• Utilize measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify product conformity

• Maintain and review quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions

• Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions

• Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives

• Calibrate and maintain inspection tools and equipment

• Manage and track limited shelf-life materials to ensure proper usage and compliance

• Ensure adherence to customer and industry standards, with knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001

Qualifications

• • Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards preferred

• • Familiarity with J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards a plus

• • IPC certification is a plus

• • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• • Prior experience in electronics or wire harness manufacturing is preferred

• • Strong communication and time management skills

• • Must be able to pass a background check

• • Fluent in English (read, speak, and write)
