Backend Engineer Intern (TikTok Shop Global E-Commerce, Search Architecture) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

Team Introduction The Search team is mainly responsible for the search algorithm innovation and architecture research and development of TikTok Shop. We use cutting-edge machine learning technology for end-to-end modeling and continuous innovation and breakthroughs, while focusing on the construction and performance optimization of distributed systems and machine learning systems.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the search system of TikTok Shop and its affiliated products, and solving the architecture optimization problem of the search architecture system. - Support the design and development of the search system, build an industry-leading search system to explore and innovate search technology. - Focus on architecture abstraction and process optimization for search scenarios, support large-scale machine learning optimization.
