Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description Position Summary: The BA / BI Developer is responsible for gathering business requirements and delivering high-quality Power BI reporting solutions aligned with enterprise data platforms, including Redshift, Databricks, Athena, and governed semantic models. The role supports the quantitative and qualitative analysis of key performance metrics and transforms operational data into actionable insights to inform business decision-making. The incumbent works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure consistent metric definitions, data quality, scalable reporting solutions, and adherence to enterprise IT and data governance standards. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Planning Engage business stakeholders to gather and document reporting and analytics requirements. Define and validate KPIs and operational metrics in partnership with domain owners. Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and automate manual reporting processes. Support structured enhancement planning for dashboards and analytics solutions. Project Oversight & System Ownership Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets. Translate business requirements into technical report designs and data visualizations. Ensure reporting solutions consume approved and governed data sources from Redshift, Databricks, and Athena. Document reporting logic, transformations, and validation processes. Conduct data quality checks and validate outputs prior to business release. Operations & Compliance Ensure compliance with Global IT Policies & Procedures. Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy. Support testing and validation activities during upstream platform or data changes. Team Leadership Support knowledge sharing of KPI definitions and reporting standards across teams. Mentor junior analysts where applicable. Cross-functional Collaboration Work in partnership with Cube/SPOT developers to ensure accurate semantic consumption. Collaborate with architecture and data engineering teams to resolve data or performance issues. Communicate findings and insights clearly to business stakeholders and leadership. Qualifications: Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field required. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and reporting development. Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards and visualizations in production environments. Experience working with enterprise data environments, including Redshift and Athena. Skills & Knowledge Strong SQL skills with the ability to validate and analyze data. Power BI dashboard development and visualization expertise. Ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions. Experience performing data validation and quality checks. Knowledge of enterprise data structures and data modeling fundamentals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working in Agile development environments (e.g., Jira, Atlassian suite). Strong documentation and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with ERP/CRM data environments. Exposure to Databricks or Python is desirable. Conceptual understanding of AI/ML use cases is preferred.
