What to Expect

Program Managers within the Autopilot/AI Hardware team work side by side with cross-functional teams to support the development and scaling of both our AI silicon and vehicle hardware. Teams include design (electrical, mechanical & firmware), supply chain and manufacturing, to name a few. They will lead complex programs with limited up front guidance. The successful candidate for this position must have a broad background in engineering design and experience with program management. Must be a self-starter and able to figure out how to do things.

What You’ll Do

  • Spearhead the next generation of AI hardware at both SOC and ECU levels, ensuring seamless integration into future vehicle products to drive innovation and performance
  • Engage monthly with AI and HW executives to foster alignment and strategic guidance for AI hardware programs across vehicles, robots, and AI data centers
  • Create program roadmaps and detailed timeline outlining milestones, critical paths, and deliverables
  • Lead engineering, hardware, AI software, operations, and procurement teams to deliver AI programs on time and within budget
  • Manage scope and schedule changes to minimize impact on overall objectives
  • Manage and track engineering sample demand and supply, coordinating with the supply chain and others to meet engineering needs
  • Maintain open communication with all stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are understood and managed
  • Monitor program progress and provide regular updates on status, including key performance metrics, challenges, and escalations
  • Track and manage potential risks with mitigation and contingency plans to minimize program impact

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
  • 5+ years experience in product development, ideally with product shipping experience in medium-to-high volume industry
  • Flexibility to work long hours and weekends when required
  • Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail

  • $96,800 - $217,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
