Software Design / Architecture Engineer

What to Expect

Optimizing every aspect of automotive system design is vital to our success, making electric vehicles more efficient and accessible. As a System Design/Architecture Engineer, you will play a key role in our Electric Motor Design and Optimization team located in Greece, with global impact. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and scaling software tools that enhance the efficiency of core engineering workflows. These tools will support the processing, comparison, and visualization of large-scale simulation and measurement data. Your work will also contribute to improving an SQL-based distributed-simulations framework, making it more efficient and scalable.

Ως Σχεδιαστής λογισμικού/Μηχανικός αρχιτεκτονικής θα έχετε βασικό ρόλο στην ομάδα σχεδιασμού και βελτιστοποίησης ηλεκτροκινητήρων στην περιοχή της νότιας Ευρώπης. Θα είστε υπεύθυνος/-η για την ανάπτυξη, τη βελτιστοποίηση και την κλιμάκωση εργαλείων λογισμικού που ενισχύουν την αποδοτικότητα των κύριων ροών εργασιών στον κλάδο της μηχανικής. Τα εργαλεία αυτά θα υποστηρίζουν την επεξεργασία, τη σύγκριση και την οπτικοποίηση δεδομένων προσομοίωσης και μέτρησης σε μεγάλη κλίμακα. Επίσης, θα συμβάλετε στη βελτίωση ενός πλαισίου κατανεμημένων προσομοιώσεων βάσει SQL με σκοπό τη βελτίωση της αποδοτικότητάς του και της δυνατότητας κλιμάκωσης.

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and optimize software tools for data processing, visualization, and comparison in MATLAB, Python, SQL, or other programming languages.
Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate development while maintaining full ownership of architectural decisions and code quality.
Work with big datasets, focusing on efficient data fetching, storage, and visualization.
Enhance and optimize a distributed-simulations framework, improving scalability and performance.
Develop and refine data-driven optimization workflows for electric motor design.
Collaborate with motor designers, test engineers, and software developers to define requirements and develop high-performance engineering tools.
· Σχεδιασμός, ανάπτυξη και βελτιστοποίηση εργαλείων λογισμικού για την επεξεργασία δεδομένων, την οπτικοποίηση και τη σύγκριση δεδομένων σε MATLAB, Python, SQL ή άλλες γλώσσες προγραμματισμού.
· Εργασία με μεγάλα σύνολα δεδομένων, εστιάζοντας στην αποτελεσματική λήψη, αποθήκευση και οπτικοποίηση δεδομένων.
· Ενίσχυση και βελτιστοποίηση ενός πλαισίου κατανεμημένων προσομοιώσεων με σκοπό τη βελτίωση της δυνατότητας κλιμάκωσης και της αποδοτικότητας.
· Ανάπτυξη και τελειοποίηση των ροών εργασιών για τη βελτιστοποίηση με βάση τα δεδομένα όσον αφορά τον σχεδιασμό ηλεκτροκινητήρων.
· Συνεργασία με σχεδιαστές κινητήρων, μηχανικούς δοκιμών και σχεδιαστές λογισμικού για τον καθορισμό των απαιτήσεων και την ανάπτυξη εργαλείων μηχανικής υψηλής απόδοσης.

What You’ll Bring

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Several years of experience in software development, data analysis, or a related area.
Strong programming skills in MATLAB and/or Python.
Experience with SQL databases and handling large datasets.
Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude, Cursor, or similar) to produce high-quality code that has been deployed to a production project.
Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code, ensuring full understanding of the system architecture and all coding choices made by the agent.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills: precise, methodical, and to the point.
Ability to work in a multinational, cross-functional team environment.
Fluent in English language skills, both written and verbal
· Πτυχίο ηλεκτρολόγου μηχανικού, πληροφορικής ή σχετικού αντικειμένου.
· Πολυετής εμπειρία στην ανάπτυξη λογισμικού, την ανάλυση δεδομένων ή άλλο σχετικό τομέα.
· Πολύ καλές δεξιότητες προγραμματισμού σε MATLAB ή/και Python.
· Εμπειρία με βάσεις δεδομένων SQL και στον χειρισμό μεγάλων συνόλων δεδομένων.
· Ενδιαφέρον για την αρχιτεκτονική λογισμικού, την ανάπτυξη αλγορίθμων και τη βελτιστοποίηση.
· Πολύ καλές δεξιότητες ανάλυσης και επίλυσης προβλημάτων.
· Εξαιρετικές επικοινωνιακές δεξιότητες: ακρίβεια, μεθοδικότητα και σαφήνεια.
· Ικανότητα εργασίας σε ένα πολυεθνικό περιβάλλον με διαλειτουργικές ομάδες.
· Ευχέρεια στα αγγλικά.
