Senior Vehicle Attributes Methodologies Engineer - Santa Oliva, Spain

What to Expect
As part of the Vehicle Attributes Characterization Team, the role is responsible for the creation, development, deployment, and maintenance of Attributes level tools to the end-users. The primary customers of the role are the end-users within Vehicle Attributes including members of Vehicle Dynamics, Vehicle Modeling, and NVH. The tools will be used by development and simulation engineers to help collect, analyze, store, and view processed data, metrics, and subjective evaluations forms.
What You’ll Do
- Benchmark existing use-cases and toolchains, summarize strengths and opportunities for improvement.
- Define end-user requirements.
- Communicate the requirements to Vehicle Modeling Infrastructure Team and collaborate with them to develop the required core functionality.
- Assemble the core functionality created by the Vehicle Modeling Infrastructure Team into end-user products and tools that achieve the requirements.
- Deploy and maintain the products and tools to the end-users.
- Support objective testing, analyze results with the tools, refine characteristic plots and metrics that both correlate with subjective assessments and consolidation/standardization of maneuvers and metrics within the Vehicle Attributes Team.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or similar.

5+ years proven success in mechanical system modeling, data analysis, product/tool creation, deployment, and maintenance.

Proficient in Python, MATLAB, and git.

Proven success collaborating with cross-functional groups.

Strong organizational, interpersonal skills.

Creative problem solving, interested in new ideas and approaches.

Experience in vehicle instrumentation, data collection and analysis a plus.

Experience in vehicle objective testing and subjective evaluation on public road and proving grounds a plus.
