What to Expect

Tesla’s aim is to ensure charging as convenient as possible for sustainable abundance. This role will support the development and operations of the Charging programs at Tesla Japan. The role oversees the charging installation and operation by developing, maintaining, and managing a network of charging sites. This is realized by access to landlords, utilities, installation vendors, and software tools. The ideal candidate has strong project management and operation management capabilities, a customer centric mentality, an understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and/or a demonstrated history of operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in stakeholder management, electrical installation and charging customer experience in Japan: develop an in-depth knowledge on infrastructure, hardware, regulation, and safety
• Develop, support, and manage vendors and utilities for charging installation to ensure the best customer experience by tracking KPIs and regularly communication
• Communicate with vendors on property management, technical skills, and customer service
• Be the source of knowledge and trainer for customer-facing and field-service teams for charging enquiries and consult on potential solutions
• Understand charging needs of Tesla customers and develop technical solutions and commercial models with local solution providers
• Support operational aspects of the wider charging team including payment, logistics and systems
• Keep up with industry trends and best practices

What You’ll Bring

Requirements

• Capacity to work independently, detail orientated and execution focused

• Excellent interpersonal and organization skills with a key focus on customer experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with good knowledge of AI based tools

• Possession of valid driving license

• Fluent in Japanese and English
