Tesla is accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy through the development of high-performance electric vehicles, advanced battery energy storage systems, solar solutions, and an expansive charging infrastructure. Our mission is clear: to reduce the environmental impact of transportation and energy consumption by driving the widespread adoption of sustainable technologies.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy intern to support our Program & Analytics team within the EMEA Energy & Charging operations team. In this role, you’ll help design and deploy smarter workflows that reduce manual effort, eliminate inefficiencies, and accelerate service operations. You’ll work at the intersection of operations, data, and automation—using AI, analytics, and scripting to turn real-world challenges into scalable solutions.

Your work will directly improve how we support Tesla’s growing infrastructure—making operations faster, more accurate, and more sustainable.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify recurring operational bottlenecks in field service, parts logistics, and deployment workflows
  • Design and prototype automation solutions using Python, scripting, or low-code tools to streamline repetitive tasks
  • Collect, clean, and analyze operational data to uncover trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Support the development of dashboards and visualizations to track KPIs and monitor process performance
  • Collaborate with field teams, O&M partners, and other stakeholders to validate solutions and ensure real-world usability
  • Contribute to the development of AI-driven insights for energy and charging systems to improve operational efficiency and enable smarter, faster decision-making across the field operations network

What You’ll Bring

  • Must be currently enrolled in operations management, computer science, engineering or a related field

  • Experience using Python and comfortable working with data (e.g., Excel, SQL)

  • Familiar with automation concepts and has experience building simple scripts or tools

  • Strong analytical mindset with curiosity about “why” things break and how they can be improved

  • Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations

  • Level C1 (written and spoken) in English

  • Tesla is an Equal Opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to any factor, including veteran status and disability status, protected by applicable federal, state or local laws.

  • Tesla is also committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities. Please let your recruiter know if you need an accommodation at any point during the interview process.
