Forward Deployed Software Engineer

Your Role

• Partner closely with clients to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable technology solutions.

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade applications that leverage AI, data, and cloud technologies to create measurable business value.

• Work directly with client stakeholders, product teams, AI engineers, data scientists, and solution architects to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Rapidly prototype, iterate, and productionise solutions based on user feedback and evolving business requirements.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, bridging business needs and technical implementation.

• Invest continuously in building and extending your technical, consulting, and domain expertise.

Requirements

• Software Engineering & Development

• • Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building scalable, production-grade applications.

• • Proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Node.js.

• • Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.

• • Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is advantageous.

• Cloud & Platform Engineering

• • Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.

• • Understanding of scalability, reliability, and distributed systems.

• AI & Data Applications

• • Experience integrating AI, GenAI, or machine learning capabilities into business applications.

• • Familiarity with platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, LangChain, or LangGraph is advantageous.

• • Ability to collaborate with AI Engineers and Data Scientists to productionise AI solutions.

• Client Delivery & Consulting

• • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver solutions in ambiguous environments.

• • High ownership mindset with a track record of driving initiatives end-to-end.

• • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences.

• • Ability to quickly understand client challenges and translate them into practical solutions.

• • Comfortable engaging clients directly.
