Infrastructure Specialist (f/m/d)

The Infrastructure Specialist ensures the reliability, security, and compliance of critical site infrastructure supporting manufacturing and laboratory operations. As the site’s single point of accountability for IT-for-OT infrastructure, this role aligns services with global standards, cybersecurity, and GxP requirements while managing lifecycle, risk, and performance across OT hosting, endpoints, and networks.

How you will contribute: Ensure the stable and secure operation of our systems, including virtualization, server, and storage technologies

Provide 3rd-level support and act as the central escalation point for complex IT issues

Participate in international IT projects and implement new technologies together with Global peers

Continuously optimize our IT systems, processes, and standards

Coordinate external service providers, as well as IT assets and licenses

Ensure proper IT documentation and compliance with policies

Ensure clean IT documentation and adherence to guidelines

Prepare reports and analyses to support management

In this position you will report to the Director Site DD&T

What you bring to Takeda: Completed vocational training in IT / computer science or automation, or a comparable qualification

Initial practical experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or automation systems

Good knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure)

Experience with virtualization (e.g., Hyper-V), ideally also with server and storage systems

Basic knowledge of networking

Good German and very good English skills, both spoken and written

A structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style

Strong teamwork and communication skills in an international environment

Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) or experience with specialized tools/applications (e.g., AVamar) is an advantage
