Java Architect

Job Description: 3+ years hand-on experience on Cloud platforms – OpenShift , OpenStack , AWS or VMWare or Azure . 15+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications (i.e. having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.) In-depth technical skills in infrastructure design & server infrastructure implementation on Cloud Platforms. Knowledge about RESTful APIs/SOAP and to architect cloud ready applications. Good understanding of DevOps technologies such as Chef, Puppet, Zookeeper etc. Experience creating and conducting Solutions Designs, proof-of-concept, developing prototype and reference models. Strong communication skills in order to effectively communicate with and make strategic recommendations to Sr. and Executive Mgmt as well as all levels of internal/external service partners A deep passion for technology and a love of learning new things.

Technical skills required:- Very Good understanding on Java /J2EE/JBoss/WAS and Dot Net Frameworks and 2 Tier/ 3 Tier Architectures Cloud Platforms IaaS/PaaS – AWS, VMWare or Pivotal x86-64, RISC based server systems, & Blade Server Technologies VMWare ESX Linux WAN & LAN technologies Storage/SAN/NAS system technologies OS Security Experience with large Database systems Experience with scripting languages Experience with alerting tools such as Tivoli, Nimsoft, Dynatrace, Splunk etc Strong troubleshooting skills
