Job Description
- At least 4 years of experience in Software development life cycle
- At least 4 years of experience in DW/BI related technologies - MUST
- At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects
- At least 3 years of experience in Design and Architecture review
- At least 2 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in Infosphere Governance Catalog
- Must be aware about defining Catalog Permissions- Define Users, Roles and Access Levels
- Create and Manage Workflow
- Explore glossary assets, information assets and external assets as well as stewards, blueprints, and other catalog content Enhance existing metadata with descriptions and associations
- Configure and execute Data and Business Lineage
- Maintain Import-Export and data connections to the databases
- Differentiate between Business, Technical and Operational Metadata
- Design and Build category hierarchy for business vocabulary and governance policies
- Design, configure and produce custom lineage reports and trace lineage from jobs and databases to business intelligence reports
- Create extended data sources and mappings
- Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
- At least 2 years of experience with IBM –Infosphere Governance Catalog
