About the role
Sonsoft , Inc. is a USA based corporation duly organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Georgia. Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.
At least 4 years of experience with DW/BI and related tools, understanding of ETL and ELT concepts At least 3 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in IBM Datastage(v8.5 and above) ETL Projects and other tools on Information Server stack like QualityStage, Information Ananlyzer, Information Services Director At least 3 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects At least 2 years of experience in using TeraData and source and/or target for data loads. Knowledge of IBM Datastage Architecture, Stages/Transformations, Design, ETL flow, advanced SQLs Develop Datastage Parallel Extender jobs using different stages like Aggregator, Join, Merge, Lookup, Source dataset, External Filter, Row generator, Column Generator, Change Capture, Copy, Funnel, Short, Peek stages etc Knowledge Best Practices in Datastage, Performance improvements, implementing CDC, UDFs Understanding of Unix/Linux system, file systems, shell scripting Good knowledge on MF file structures along with RDBMS incl. Oracle and TeraData Experience in using DataStage for extracting data from and loading data to Hadoop Cluster Experience in Strategizing, planning and implementing Major and point upgrades for DataStage Experience in DataStage grid deployment and configuration. Provides expertise in determining the strategic technical direction and system architecture for initiatives. Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems Strong analytical skills Experience in Manufacturing domain
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of work experience in Information Technology.
