Grade Level (for internal use): 10 Business Segment: S&P Global – Finance Technology The Team: The Quality Engineering team partners with Product, Development, and Business stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of enterprise Finance Technology solutions. Operating in a global Agile model, the team drives quality transformation, automation adoption, and governance excellence. This role will play a strategic leadership position in defining QA practices, driving innovation, and ensuring scalability across Oracle Fusion Financials platforms. The Impact: As a senior SDET, you will drive end-to-end quality engineering strategies for Oracle Fusion Financials (R2R) modules, ensuring scalable automation, robust governance, and faster time-to-market without compromising quality. You will lead initiatives across automation, AI-led testing, and test governance frameworks, influencing enterprise-wide QA standards and practices. What’s in it for you: Opportunity to define QA strategy and governance for enterprise finance platforms Exposure to large-scale Oracle Fusion Financials transformations Drive AI-led testing innovation and automation maturity Partner with global leadership in delivering business-critical solutions Lead high-performing QA teams and influence quality culture Work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment Responsibilities: Quality Engineering & Leadership Define and implement QA governance, standards, and best practices across programs Drive test strategy, risk-based testing, and quality metrics reporting to leadership Lead QA teams, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality deliverables Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Business stakeholders for quality alignment Oracle Fusion Financials (R2R) Testing Lead testing for Record-to-Report (R2R) modules including: General Ledger (GL) Fixed Assets (FA) Cash Management (CM) Validate end-to-end business flows including journal processing, asset lifecycle, reconciliation, and financial close Support SIT/UAT cycles with strong domain-driven validation Automation & Engineering Excellence Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Java/Python Drive API, UI, and database automation for Oracle Fusion applications Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines ensuring continuous quality feedback Optimize test execution, reduce manual effort, and improve coverage AI & Intelligent Testing Implement AI/ML-based testing solutions such as: Test case generation using GenAI tools Self-healing automation frameworks Intelligent defect prediction and risk-based prioritization Data validation using AI-assisted reconciliation techniques Leverage tools like Copilot, generative AI platforms, and analytics to enhance QA productivity Governance, Metrics & Reporting Establish quality KPIs (defect leakage, automation coverage, cycle efficiency, etc.) Drive executive-level reporting on testing progress, risks, and quality insight Ensure traceability from requirements → test cases → execution Participate in release governance and quality sign-offs

What We’re Looking For

Mandatory Skills Strong experience in Oracle Fusion Financials testing Deep functional knowledge of R2R modules (GL, FA, CM) Expertise in Automation testing using Java or Python as programming language Strong SQL skills and data validation experience Experience with API, UI, and database testing Senior-Level / Leadership Skills Experience in QA governance and test strategy definition Strong experience in test metrics, reporting, and stakeholder communication Proven ability to lead QA teams and drive quality initiatives Experience in Agile/Scaled Agile environments AI & Modern QA Skills Exposure to AI-driven testing, GenAI use cases, or intelligent automation Experience using tools for: Automated test generation Self-healing framework Predictive analytics for defect detection Understanding of data-driven testing and AI-assisted validation techniques Additional Skills (Preferred) Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave, etc.) Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.) Experience in large-scale enterprise transformation programs ISTQB or relevant QA certifications Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field Typically 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering and automation
