What You'll DO

  • As a CMM Programmer, you'll help ensure every part we produce meets the highest quality standards by:

  • Program and operate CMM equipment to inspect precision components

  • Read engineering drawings and verify parts meet specifications

  • Use precision measuring tools to inspect and validate parts

  • Document inspection results and identify quality concerns

  • Work with machinists, engineers, and the Quality team to solve problems

  • Help improve inspection processes and product quality

  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • We're more interested in your ability to do the work than checking every box.

  • You should have:

  • Experience in manufacturing, machining, quality inspection, or a related hands-on trade

  • Experience with CMMs, GD&T, Zeiss Calypso, FARO, or other metrology equipment is required.

  • Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn

  • Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) is preferred

  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills

  • Basic computer skills

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new technology

  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This role is based in our machine shop and metrology lab and involves an active, physical work environment:

  • Regular computer work for extended periods for CMM programming, ERP documentation, and technical communication

  • Regular standing, walking, and movement throughout the manufacturing facility and metrology lab during inspection setup and floor support activities

  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching to inspect components, fixtures, and metrology equipment at machine and floor level

  • Occasional lifting and carrying of materials, fixturing, and components up to 50 lbs; team lifts required for heavier loads

  • Manual dexterity required for operating CMM equipment, hand tools, and precision metrology instruments; may perform repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and fingers

  • Visual acuity required to read technical drawings and GD&T callouts, inspect component surfaces, and work with precision measurement tools

  • PPE is required at all times on the shop floor, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear
