Job Overview: We are urgently looking for an Android Developer for our client, an emerging online shopping portal company. They are highly interested in candidates that have: Experience shipping one or more Android apps, currently available on Google Play Experience with the latest Android and Google Play Services APIs Proficient with Java, the Android SDK & Android Studio Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming Experience interfacing with server APIs via JSON and XML Ability to work in areas outside of their usual comfort zone and love to learn new technologies If that sounds like you, keep reading since we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a fast paced, super smart, cutting edge, team of developers.
Requirements for the Role
3+ years of Java software development Knowledge and demonstrable work on the current Android platform, including the latest ICS and Jellybean versions Keeps up-to-date on the latest Android SDK developments; respond to customer feedback & testing Self-motivated, and can excel in a team-based environment Has a portfolio of personal projects that shows an aptitude for engineering and product sense
