Primary Responsibilities: Performing structural analysis of Aircraft components, assemblies while working as a part of integrated team. Structural analysis includes calculation of loads, Static analysis, Fatigue analysis, Damage-Tolerance analysis, and Vibration analysis Evaluate structural integrity of aircraft components by way of classical hand calculations and, finite element method Draw FBDs based on the structural load paths. Generation of applied loads, interface loads and internal loads distributions, utilizing proper understanding and recognition of structural load paths and structural response to load. Prepare informal and formal documentation of strength check notes or revise existing stress report using MS Office products. Suggest solutions to resolve any concerns based on the stress Analysis results Responsible for schedule and cost for the portion of the project assigned. Responsible for engineering metrics like OTD, FPY, etc. Working with Cross functional team and communicate with business units in USA (effective written and verbal communication is required for the purpose of achieving successful job performance) Willingness to work in extremely aggressive schedules, while still not neglecting the value of attention to details and subsequently delivering high quality work to the customers. Basic Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering 7 to 10 years of relevant experience Good Knowledge of composite Materials and Analysis Sound Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals Proficient in the fundamentals of solid Mechanics, Machine Design etc. Good understanding of structural load paths and structural response to load. Experience in Analysis tools such as Hypermesh or Nastran/Patran Good communication and Interpersonal skills Good analytical skills.
