Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible. Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Ground Systems Interface/Integration Engineer to join our team! In this role you will work as a technical staff member of the GMN SE team supporting GMD Fire Control and Communications (GFCC) interface/integration engineering between the GFCC product suite (fire control system, fire control network, in-flight interceptor communication system, and missile silo/launch support system) and the GMD Next Generation Interceptor (NGI). What You'll Be Doing: Assist the GMN Systems Engineering (SE) Lead and GFCC Product Leads in defining, analyzing, coordinating, and tracking technical solutions supporting the interface and integration of GFCC hardware and software with the GMD NGI. Function as a primary technical liaison between SE, GFCC product suite, and NGI engineering and project management personnel, and facilitate productive technical interchange between SE, GFCC, and NGI teams. Assist SE and GFCC Product Leads in incorporating NGI technical details into GFCC interface requirements and design documentation. Support GMN SE in preparation, conduct, and after-action responsibilities for Sprint reviews, program management reviews, system requirements reviews, design reviews, project status reviews, test events, fielding readiness reviews, and operational readiness reviews. Develop and present technical reports and briefings including support to the Engineering Review Boards (ERB), other Stakeholder coordination, and Operational Capacity List (OCL) approval processes. Travel as required (estimated 10%). What Required Skills You'll Bring: Master’s Degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline is required. Minimum of 12 years direct experience in missile defense system interface/integration is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required. Active security clearance (SECRET or above) is required. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Direct experience in digital engineering/DevSecOps development projects is desired. Security Clearance Requirement: An active Secret security clearance is required for this position. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
