QA Engineer - Performance Tester

Role Overview

Specialized QA role focused on performance, scalability, and reliability testing of web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and capacity tests

• Build reusable scripts using k6, JMeter, Gatling, or Locust

• Analyze performance metrics and identify system bottlenecks

• Execute tests in Linux, Docker, and AWS environments

• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps on performance optimization

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4–6 years of performance testing experience

• Strong expertise with at least one performance tool (k6 preferred)

• Scripting in JavaScript, Java, or Python

• Strong Linux, Docker, CI/CD, and AWS exposure

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience
