We are seeking a Senior Principal Engineer with deep expertise in ServiceNow configuration, customization, and integration, with a strong focus on delivering measurable business outcomes. This role is a senior individual contributor responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions within GRC/IRM domains, particularly in a financial services environment. The ideal candidate combines hands-on engineering and GRC domain expertise with business solutioning capabilities, enabling business outcomes through high-impactful technical solutions. Day to Day responsibilities: ServiceNow Engineering & Delivery Hands-on design, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules. Hands-on implementation of end-to-end GRC/RCM workflows in ServiceNow, including data modeling, taxonomy, traceability, regulatory change, Compliance Testing, Compliance Risk Assessment, and Compliance Monitoring processes. Deliver end-to-end implementations within the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on IRM/GRC solutions. Drive integration efforts between ServiceNow and enterprise systems. Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure architecture aligned with enterprise standards. Business Solutioning & Stakeholder Engagement Partner closely with business stakeholders to: Assess requirements Evaluate solution fit Define optimal configuration strategies Translate business needs into functional and technical designs. Maintain a strong focus on business outcome delivery, not just technical execution. Agile Delivery & SDLC Operate within a 2-week Agile sprint cycle. Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog management, sprint planning, and tracking. Contribute to continuous improvement of Agile delivery practices. Governance, Risk, and Data Integrity Ensure solutions support: Data lineage and traceability Security and access controls Regulatory reporting and compliance requirements Align implementations with financial services GRC expectations. Collaboration & Mentorship Provide technical mentorship to junior team members, including those in APAC regions. Collaborate with contractors and extended team members in a distributed delivery model. Promote best practices in configuration, design, and solution delivery. Innovation & AI Enablement Contribute to initiatives involving AI within GRC platforms. Apply or build knowledge of AI-driven capabilities in ServiceNow or adjacent tools. Demonstrate familiarity with or willingness to learn tools such as Cube (Regulatory Intelligence platform). Required Qualifications 15+ years of experience in software engineering or platform engineering roles. Strong, hands-on experience with: ServiceNow platform (configuration, customization, and integration) IRM / GRC modules within ServiceNow Proven experience in: Requirements assessment and solution design Delivering solutions aligned to business outcomes Experience working in Agile environments (2-week sprints). Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar SDLC tools. Strong understanding of: Data governance (lineage, controls) Security and compliance considerations Ability to work in a global, distributed team model. Preferred Qualifications ServiceNow Certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS-IRM, CAD). Experience in financial services (banking, asset management, or regulatory environments). Exposure to or hands-on experience with: AI/ML initiatives within GRC or compliance platforms Regulatory intelligence tools (e.g., Cube) Strong understanding of enterprise risk and compliance frameworks. Strong understanding of RCM lifecycle Strong understanding of Compliance Testing, Compliance Risk Assessment, and Compliance Monitoring.
