About the role
In addition to adhering to Nextech’s conduct and behavioral standards, responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and execute scalable performance test strategies to validate the reliability, scalability, and responsiveness of enterprise applications and distributed systems.
Develop and maintain automated performance test scripts using k6 to simulate real-world user workloads and identify system bottlenecks.
Analyze application, database, and infrastructure performance metrics to identify performance issues and provide recommendations for optimization.
Design and maintain reusable performance testing frameworks, utilities, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
Build and maintain performance dashboards and automated reports using InfluxDB, Grafana, and Flux queries.
Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to establish performance requirements and integrate performance testing into the software development lifecycle.
Integrate performance testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous performance validation.
Execute load, stress, endurance, spike, scalability, and capacity testing across cloud-native and distributed application environments.
Develop SQL queries to support test validation, performance analysis, and database performance investigations.
Produce performance analysis reports, communicate findings, and partner with development teams to validate performance improvements.
Support performance testing in containerized and distributed environments using Docker and Kubernetes where applicable.
Promote performance engineering best practices, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Define, monitor, and analyze key performance metrics, including latency, throughput, and system resource utilization, using observability platforms such as InfluxDB, Prometheus, Grafana, and similar tools.
