Must have good understanding of graphic design principles and an appreciation for typography, color, and effective composition Good understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and how designs will translate to code Experience creating pages using a CMS (ie. WordPress or Drupal) Collaborate with fellow designers, as well as product and development teams to ensure design is consistent with style guides and best practices Understanding and appreciation of how interface design works in an Agile development environment Ability to communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and designs clearly Portfolio of interactive web or mobile app prototypes and designs
Hub team is looking for design and development support to help set direction of next generation of employee tools and services. Potential extension on duration for right candidate. Primary responsibility will be to support the creation of new websites using our custom site builder tool and help develop the tool further with new ideas and page templates. This is primarily a hybrid designer / developer role and must have a good eye for design as well as being able to create HTML & CSS code.
