The Asia-Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore employing nearly 3000 team members. Position Details We are now seeking an exceptional Director of Engineering, Asia Pacific to join our leadership team, based in Melbourne.

About the Role

This is a critical regional leadership role responsible for shaping and executing engineering, property and capital strategy across Lineage’s Asia-Pacific network. Leading a geographically dispersed team, you will drive infrastructure performance, capital investment, asset optimisation and network growth, ensuring our facilities are efficient, scalable and future-ready.

You’ll operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, partnering with senior leaders across operations, finance and development to deliver long-term value and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute regional engineering, property and construction strategies aligned to growth objectives

Lead capital planning and investment, ensuring strong ROI and portfolio optimisation

Oversee a multi-country network of facilities, ensuring performance, compliance and asset integrity

Drive infrastructure reliability, energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives

Lead major capital works, expansions, acquisitions and development projects

Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance and Leadership teams to deliver business outcomes

Build, lead and develop a high-performing regional engineering and facilities team

Strengthen relationships with vendors, developers, regulators and key stakeholders

Champion safety, innovation and operational excellence across all sites

About You

You are a strategic, commercially astute engineering leader with experience operating across complex, multi-site environments. You will bring: Extensive senior leadership experience in engineering, facilities or capital projects within logistics, supply chain or industrial environments

Proven success managing large-scale capital programs and asset portfolios

Strong understanding of property, infrastructure and construction strategy

Experience leading teams across multiple geographies

A track record of delivering operational efficiency, cost optimisation and growth outcomes

Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar (MBA advantageous)

Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and leadership capability
