JOB TITLE: Mechanical Engineer
LOCATION: Carrollton, TX and hybrid role, may work from home
DUTIES:
Design, fabricate, modify and evaluate complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems.
Write test procedures, compile and evaluate design and test data and prepare technical specifications.
Recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or processes.
Coordinate with technical support personnel to conduct prototype or experimental runs for products or processes.
Coordinate the efforts of drafters, technical writers, engineering technicians and machine shop personnel for New Product Introductions (NPI), Material Cost Reduction (MCR), and quality improvement initiatives.
Focus on process and product optimization within the domain of Lennox HVAC products.
Responsible for mechanical engineering development to include designing, building, and testing mechanical systems and devices.
What We Are Looking For
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, or a related field, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer or in a related/similar position.

Experience therein to include:
-
1 year in the following:
-
mechanical engineering development;
-
heat transfer;
-
thermodynamics;
-
fluid dynamics;
-
data analysis or management;
-
diagnostics and problem solving;
-
CAD software;
-
and CFD analysis.

6 months in the following:
-
HVAC product design.
-
Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
