Senior Systems Administrator

Leidos is seeking an IT Engineer with Microsoft Enterprise Systems Administrator experience to join our team in support of a Federal Intelligence Agency contract located in Alice Springs, AUS. Primary responsibilities include providing Tier 2 support of maintaining multiple large Enterprise environment that spans CONUS and OCONUS boundaries. The supporting infrastructure includes multiple Microsoft based networks spanning multiple security enclaves within a hybrid (Windows & RHEL) environment. Primary Responsibilities & Duties: System Administrative duties to include management of Windows and Linux workstations on EVD and physical Troubleshooting application functionality, crash and performance Investigate user performance and work with external teams to improve user experience Assist customers with Tier2 incident resolution for Linux and windows applications. Provide remote end user desktop support Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system incidents with both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions. Responds to escalated service desk/team requests. Communicate effectively (in oral and written form) with a variety of individuals; work well within small and large team environments. Participates in special projects as required. Willingness to provide initial triage, response, and notifications for incidents Clearance Requirements: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph with current investigation within the last 5 years. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or a Masters Degree and 6+ years of experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree are acceptable. Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required Active Directory Administration DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016, Application Troubleshooting such as Outlook, Excel, Word, JAVA, Internet Explorer Linux Operating system Understanding of Service Now, NETS or other ticketing process ITIL v3 or higher Diagnostics & Troubleshooting Hardware/Software Troubleshooting Microsoft Windows System Administration Preferred Qualifications: PowerShell Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Virtualization Environments (VMware, Citrix) Profile management utilizing the VMware User Experience Management (UEM) toolset Microsoft Exchange Telephone/Video support Networking Familiarity with site specific customer and mission Certification Requirement (*required day 1) IAT II If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
