About the role
Position Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling and fabricating electro-mechanical components, systems, and products according to engineering specifications and quality standards. The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure the efficient production of high-quality electro-mechanical devices.
Responsibilities
Assemble electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Install, align, and adjust mechanical and electrical components to ensure proper functioning. Perform soldering, wiring, and cable harnessing as required. Test assembled electro-mechanical systems to ensure proper functionality and performance. Troubleshoot and debug assembly issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, including recording measurements, test results, and any deviations from specifications. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve design and manufacturing issues. Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in electro-mechanical assembly is preferred. Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and measurement instruments. Familiarity with quality control standards and practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and reach for extended periods. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for assembling small components.
