UID Product Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Lead mechanical solution design for new UID product developments and engineering changes to existing products. Facilitate the development of quality, reliability, and validation plans for new designs and design changes with cross-functional team (Lab, Sourcing, Quality, SQM, etc.) and supplier. Coordinate prototype builds with internal teams and suppliers, and drive continuous improvement based on results. Maintain product data in system platforms, including: Creating and managing PDM/VC configuration rules Developing and updating 3D models, 2D drawings, and related documentation. Handle technical aspects of quality feedback and implement corrective and preventive actions Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) Experience with Creo parametric design and PDM scripting is preferred Language: Fluent in both written and spoken English Competencies: Strong sense of responsibility and ownership Open-minded with excellent communication and collaboration skills Proactive, self-driven, and able to take initiative in leading tasks Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset At KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
