Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: Main Job Objectives Deliver the assigned project scope and tasks by meeting\exceeding our safety, quality, On-Time-Delivery and budget requirements. To commission controls systems on-site including electrical and PLC software commissioning and to provide support to system test activities and training for the end user To produce commissioning documentation including, but not limited to, commissioning checklists, tests specifications, Method Statements and Risk Assessments for Automated solutions to BS EN ISO 12100. To interpret electrical schematics and design input information. Ensure systems supplied are CE Compliant to the Machinery Directive. Commission Safety Related Part of the Controls system solutions to the regulations and in accordance with BS EN ISO 13849/13850/60204 etc. Qualifications & Experience: Educational background in Electrical/Controls Engineering as a minimum Desirable: Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline Experience in a similar role Good understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA development and commissioning software Hands-on experience with electrical commissioning. Good understanding of Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings Good understanding of bus systems Understanding of distributed control systems desirable not essential Understanding of automated warehouse desirable not essential Ability to travel to customer sites for up to 80% of the time, both domestically and internationally. Full driver’s license to support the travel requirements of the role. Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering Special Conditions: Role will require 80% travel to customer sites within the EMEA European region including travel to other Dematic offices or facilities across Europe in the undertaking of duties.
