Your Impact As a Hardware Sustaining Engineer, you’ll maintain and enhance existing fire detection hardware — including control panels, detectors, and notification devices. Your work ensures long-term reliability, regulatory compliance, and customer trust .
Key Responsibilities Analyze and resolve hardware issues in existing products Collaborate with global engineering, customer support, and compliance teams Implement design improvements and cost optimizations Support product lifecycle activities (component obsolescence, redesigns) Maintain documentation and ensure regulatory alignment What You Bring Degree in Electrical Engineering Experience in embedded hardware troubleshooting Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency with debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer) Preferred Skills Low-power analog circuit design Knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC converters Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems
