About the role
Summary: Sr. software engineer with experience of at least 5 years in developing software applications using Java/C++ in a complex distributed environment. Experience of at least 2 years developing Android applications and services. Candidate will perform software development in an agile environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for development of complex Java and C++ applications with Multimedia framework (Steaming, RTP, RTSP).
- Experience on Multi Media Framework for Android OS (not Android App) using C++ and JAVA. Development environment is Linux.
- Experience with Linux platform
- Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, tech design, implementation, code review, testing, and release.
- Ability to investigate, troubleshoot and identify solutions to issues during development. Utilizes necessary tools to measure software performance.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as bash, python or Javascript is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills Required Competencies: 3-5+ years’ experience with application development in C++ and Java 2+ years’ Android development experience.
