Test Debug and RCA Engineer is responsible for testing, validating, troubleshooting, and certifying server, compute and networking racks during manufacturing and production. This role ensures that assembled racks meet quality, performance, reliability, and customer requirements. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Support server and networking rack testing and system performance validation with strong domain knowledge Diagnose and conduct root cause analysis to resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues using diagnostic tools Test high-speed Ethernet and InfiniBand fabrics. Validate switch configurations and network connectivity. Troubleshoot packet loss, latency, bandwidth, and routing issues. Develop, implement and maintain test procedure, automation script, test process instructions (TPI) and production operator training. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams. Support engineering validation activities Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards. Education and Work Experience Bachelor's Degree or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology Networking Engineering major related field Minimum of 3 years related experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of computer hardware assembly and troubleshooting Understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, VANs, Routing and Switching, DNS and DHCP Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server environments Knowledge of manufacturing and quality control processes Experience with scripting languages and databases such as MySQL, Python, Bash, or PowerShell Experience in data center infrastructure or rack integration Job Complexity and Supervision Works on problems of moderate scope. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Comfortable in a fast-moving business and team environment Excellent communication skills—written and verbal. Attention to detail and process. Self-starter and highly motivated Physical Demands Extensive use of computer equipment, and frequent telephone activity. Periods of extended sitting, walking, and standing are required. Activities such as bending and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds. Employee must be physically capable of completing and satisfying all training requirements as stipulated by Company policy.
