Job Description

Person will have position of local Experienced System Service Specialist.

Position is to perform DCS and Safety Systems Migrations and Upgrades and Software and Hardware troubleshooting.

The job holder shall be able to perform maintenance and configuration tasks required for DCS and Safety Systems, including related IT technologies (Cisco Networking Systems, Virtual Systems based on vMware technology, Active Directory (AD), install control system’s software patches, Anti-virus and MS updates.

Remote or On Call Support. Continuously improve knowledge of Honeywell’s HPS systems hardware and software platforms as well as Honeywell cyber security solutions.

Role can be based in Bucharest or Constanta.

Responsibilities

• Installation of the control system’s software and hardware Patches, Upgrades and Migrations.
• Perform cyber security activities with technical support of cyber security expert.
• Troubleshooting and Technical Support for all in country customers
• Handle required administration.
• Shares technical knowledge within colleagues.
• Report progress of each service project/activities and issues to FSM.
• May require carrying out site work and international assignments from time to time.
• Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvement within service team.
• Complies with Corporate, local, Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
• The duties and responsibilities of workers in the field of safety and health at work and emergency situations - in confirmation with Annex A/B
• Performing daily activities related to the areas of responsibility, according to the performance level established and regularly monitored by internal management tools (eg Tier / Weekly / Monthly )
• Achieving the performance objectives set by the manager through the HPD system
• Acts in accordance with Honeywell behaviors
• Key behaviors in line with role & CX skill matrix

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation)

• 3-5 years previous relevant experience

• Basic knowledge of Cisco Networks and Virtualization (VMware)

• Good knowledge and experience in hardware assembly process.

• Knowledge on English language is must. (Technical and commun. level). Any other European language skill is a plus (French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, German)

• Knowledge of Honeywell HPS Systems hardware platforms Experion, Safety Manager, SM SC.

• Good knowledge in Microsoft Server, Windows applications and AD management

• Cyber Security awareness (McAfee, Symantec)

• Back-up tools (McAfee, Symantec)

• Good knowledge of ISO requirements.

• Good knowledge about HSE Requirements.
