Job Description
As an Embedded Engineer Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design, development, and testing of firmware for hospitality devices within Building Management Systems (BMS). You will work on cutting-edge technology that enhances the comfort, energy efficiency, and overall experience in hospitality environments. You will work out of our Mexico City, Mexico location on Hybrid, work schedule. In this role, you will impact the development of reliable and innovative firmware solutions that integrate with building automation systems, supporting Honeywell’s commitment to delivering future-ready building management technologies. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and debugging of embedded firmware for hospitality devices in BMS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware with device components.
- Participate in testing and validation of firmware to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
Qualifications
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Entry-level experience or internships in embedded firmware development or related fields.
- Basic understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware programming concepts.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C or C++ and debugging tools used in embedded development.
- Knowledge of hardware-software integration and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- English proficiency
